Ghost, a 20+ year old gelding Quarter horse. He was taken to CA State event in 2023 and with his rider they buckled in one event; California State Horseman's association state champion and won hurry scurry $$. Shortly after this he stated limping, after the vet check, it was cancer. He was retired and lived out his time with us. Early March 2025, he crossed the rainbow bridge surrounded by the people who loved him.
Bo Jax came to us as an owner surrender in 2019. We rehabilitated his hooves over the next few years. After Vet checks we learned that he had been nerved blocked, in both front feet, with moderate arthritis and he would suffer persistent infections that made it hard for him to walk or stand, which became worse over the years. In September of 2024, we made the difficult decision to humanly euthanize him. He crossed the rainbow bridge surrounded by people who loved him. A few months after his passing, his original (not known to us owner) called and expressed their condolences for our loss. Turns out Bo was a Rodeo roper and trail horse. Bo was a very special horse, loved by many people at the ranch and the original owner found comfort in knowing Bo was loved.
