Feather was a Rescue favorite. She is the solid horse that started many a small rider. She loved to work and loved to be around people. She crossed the rainbow bridge suddenly, and surrounded by the people who loved her.
Hope was found wandering in a local town with a large laceration to her neck and very underweight, she was also blind. We took her in and one of our volunteers, Joann. Joann is a retired nurse who daily clean treated and bandaged Hopes wounds and they fell in love. Hope started gaining weight and was doing great. Sadly in late 2023 her health took a turn for the worse and in 2024 due to poor quality-of-life issues, she was humanly euthanized surrounded by the people who healed and loved her. She will be missed.
Rooney came to us from an owner surrender. He was 29 at the time and partially blind with a bad cough that developed. He stayed with us for a few years, during that time he enjoyed all the love, attention and treats he could get. He was humanly euthanized in April of 2024. He will be missed.
